Do I need a specific diagnosis to start coaching?
No. Many clients come to me without a formal diagnosis, just a sense that anxiety, self-doubt, or feeling stuck is getting in the way. We build a plan based on what you're actually experiencing, not a label.
Is this coaching only for certain ages or genders?
Not at all. I work with a wide range of clients, teens, young adults, and adults, of any gender, dealing with anxiety, fear, self-doubt, or a persistent feeling of being stuck. The plan is built around you, not a demographic.
What if my anxiety isn't 'severe' enough for coaching?
There's no minimum threshold. If anxious thinking, avoidance, or self-doubt is affecting your day-to-day life or holding you back from something you want, that's worth addressing, regardless of how it compares to anyone else's experience.
How is your approach different from traditional therapy?
A lot of the people I work with have already spent time in therapy. They understand themselves, they know where some of their patterns come from, and they may have gained a lot of insight, but they still feel stuck. My approach is more active and hands-on. We don't just talk about what's happening. We look at what you're doing when anxiety shows up, what you're avoiding, where you're getting caught in overthinking, and what needs to change outside of our sessions. I pull from approaches like CBT, ACT, and exposure-based work while also using coaching to create structure, accountability, and consistent practice. The goal is to take what you understand intellectually and turn it into changes you can actually experience in your day-to-day life.
I overthink everything and avoid things. Can coaching help with that?
Yes, that combination is one of the most common things I work on. Overthinking and avoidance usually feed each other: the more you avoid something, the more your mind rehearses it, and the more anxious it feels. We work on both sides, catching the overthinking loop earlier and taking small, deliberate steps toward what you've been avoiding. You'll have specific things to practice between sessions, and we'll adjust based on how they actually land, not on theory.
